Introduction
Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor is an advanced adsorption device, also known as Zeolite Rotor or Molecular Sieve Wheel, which is mainly used for the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in industrial exhaust gas treatment. It utilizes hydrophobic zeolite molecular sieves as the adsorption material and is made into a honeycomb-like rotor structure, which is capable of efficiently capturing pollutants in low concentration and high air volume exhaust gases. We combine Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor with rotary RTO system to provide a comprehensive solution for integrated industrial exhaust gas treatment. Its strong adsorption capacity, suitable for low concentration exhaust gas purification, purification efficiency of more than 98%. Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor is also known as VOC Concentrator Rotor and Adsorption Rotor. as a hydrophobic zeolite rotor, it can effectively avoid moisture interference, ensuring that the humidity and moisture are not interfered with, so that the rotor can be used in a variety of applications. As a hydrophobic zeolite rotor, it effectively avoids moisture interference and ensures stable operation in humid environments. This type of rotor is usually divided into adsorption zone, regeneration zone and isolation zone, and it can realize continuous operation by rotating, which is suitable for exhaust gas treatment in printing, chemical industry and so on.

Working Principle
The working principle of the Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor is based on the adsorption and desorption processes of molecular sieves. As the exhaust gas passes through the adsorption zone of the rotor, the VOCs are captured by the zeolite molecular sieves and clean air is discharged. The rotor then rotates to the regeneration zone, where hot air is used to desorb the pollutants, creating a highly concentrated exhaust gas that facilitates subsequent treatment such as RTO incineration. In the printing industry treatment program, the Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor is used for organic acid concentration and abatement tower concentration, combined with a waste RO system for waste heat recovery. It has a honeycomb structure and is coated with hydrophobic zeolite molecular sieves, which can concentrate a large volume of low-concentration exhaust gas into a small volume of high-concentration exhaust gas, with a concentration multiplier of up to 10-30 times. The molecular sieve coating has a specific adsorption capacity that precisely controls the transport of moisture and VOCs.The key to the Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor for VOC treatment is its microporous structure (0.3-1nm), which allows for selective adsorption and prevents the entry of large molecules. Compared to traditional activated carbon, Zeolite Rotor is more resistant to high temperatures and non-flammable, ensuring safe operation.

Advantages
- High efficiency purification: it has strong adsorption capacity, especially suitable for low concentration and large air volume exhaust gas, and the purification efficiency is as high as 98.5%. The company has completed 32 sets of zeolite molecular sieve conversion RTO system integration projects, fully proving its reliability in complex exhaust gas treatment.
- Safe and fireproof: Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor is non-flammable and made of inorganic materials, effectively reducing the risk of fire.
Hydrophobic: The product’s hydrophobicity allows it to efficiently treat aqueous exhaust gases without compromising its adsorption properties. - Energy-saving regeneration: As a Molecular Sieve Rotor, it supports thermal regeneration with low energy consumption. When combined with an RTO, waste heat can be utilized, such as steam or hot water recovery.
- Dedicated and long life: Compared to silica gel rotors, Zeolite Rotor is more dedicated to VOCs adsorption and has a long service life of 5 – 10 years.
- Wide applicability: Excellent performance in low dew point conditions, especially for the pharmaceutical and electronics industries.
Application Areas
Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor is widely used in industrial exhaust gas treatment, solvent recovery and air purification. It is used in the printing, chemical and PVC resin industries for exhaust gas treatment, e.g., concentration of low-concentration exhaust gases with high air volume, integration with RTO to treat VOCs such as toluene, xylene, etc. It is also suitable for laminating machines and workshop disorganized exhaust gases with components such as ethyl ether ethane, acetate, etc. Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor for industrial waste gas treatment is also suitable for oilfield associated gas treatment and odor control in wastewater treatment plants. The Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor for industrial waste gas treatment is also suitable for the treatment of associated gases in oil fields and for odor control in wastewater treatment plants. The VOC Concentrator Rotor is commonly used in automotive painting and semiconductor manufacturing to ensure that emissions standards are met. Overall, the VOC Concentrator Rotor helps companies to realize low-carbon production under the “dual carbon” strategy, and gives the world a blue sky.

Integration of Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor and RTO System
Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor is often integrated with rotary RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) to form an efficient waste gas treatment system. Rotary RTO and zeolite molecular sieve are specialized for waste gas heat energy utilization and EPC general contracting projects. The company has completed 41 chlorine and sulfur-containing waste gas projects using combined anti-corrosion technology. After the rotor is concentrated, the waste gas enters the RTO for incineration, reducing equipment investment and operating costs. This integration concentrates the waste gas by 10-20 times, and the RTO treats high-concentration waste gas with a thermal efficiency of >95%. The advantage of Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor with RTO for VOCs treatment is waste heat recovery, such as steam, hot water or hot oil, with 98 steam waste heat recovery projects. The system is simple, including regenerative heaters and fans, and the non-flammable design improves safety. In the chemical low-temperature methanol washing waste gas solution, the rotor + RTO treats methane and carbon monoxide to achieve “environmental protection + energy saving”.

Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor Case Study
Through the case study, the actual effect of Zeolite Molecular Sieve Rotor is obvious. By July 2025, the zeolite molecular sieve system has integrated more than 70 sets and treated 50 sets of high-oil fume projects. It is used in the printing industry, and the unorganized waste gas enters the RTO after leaching + concentration, and the waste heat is recovered as hot water. Its role in helium recovery is highly efficient and suitable for nuclear facilities. Another case is the rotor to treat benzene VOCs, with an adsorption rate of >90% and low regeneration energy consumption.
